Profile Waist Width

Rocker/Camber Hybrid: Uses rocker in certain zones of the ski, typically the tip, tail, or both. Great, versatile choice, offering good grip on hardpack, some float in soft snow, and easy turn initiation and transitions.

90-99: Good float in powder; typically still carve pretty well

Style: 8A3352

The Blizzard Rustler 9 Ski is specifically designed for skiers who want to make the most out of their time on the mountain, no matter the conditions. It’s powered by the all new Freeride Trublend woodcore which blends beech, poplar, and paulownia stringers to lower swing weight while giving a smooth, balanced flex from tip to tail. The FluxForm construction in the Rustler 9 adds additional Titanal® underfoot and along the length of the ski on each side, for stability and hold on firmer snow. It adds up to a more stable feel that’s still soft and playful. That’s why Blizzard says these skis are built for party laps.

Q:
"Hi PG, high level skier, 40ish days a year 170cm tall 175lbs. Tend to favor, jumps, bumps, trees and quicker turns. Had 2023 rustler9 172cm last year. Loved them, don't think I would want them any longer. Buying 2024s this year. Should I order 168s or 174s? The 24 looks like it has way more tip/tail rocker...so go longer?, but its stronger and has a longer contact length.... So go shorter? Thx!"

A:
"Thanks for the question. If you felt that he 172s were your max then go with the 168. The shorter ski will be much quicker to turn and throw around, which matches up with the riding style you are looking for too!"
